There are four main reasons why InsideTracker doesn’t include specific biomarkers:
- There’s insufficient scientific evidence to support that optimizing the marker is an indicator of optimal health in human subjects.
- The marker is not readily affected by nutrition, exercise, supplements, or lifestyle.
- Commercially available tests for it are unreliable.
- Its levels vary too much over time (e.g. hour of the day, day in the month)
With that being said, we are constantly investigating new biomarkers to add to our products to keep InsideTracker on the cutting edge of personalized nutrition.
